About Sparks Hair Design

Sparks Hair Design first opened its doors in a small basement level shop in April of 1983 with just 3 stylists. Five years later we grew out of our space and moved to a larger loft space, which we occupied for 10 years. In 1998 we moved into our custom renovated space at 72 Easton Ave. We now house the most talented stylists in New Brunswick. In the fall of 2006 we expanded the salon to 3 floors, housing 20+ stylists.

Sparks offers a variety of Hair Services, including Cuts, Styles, Up-do's, Coloring, Texture, Full Body Waxing, Extensions and Piercing. Sparks features the cutting edge of hair design and has been at the forefront of Color & Highlighting since the early 1990's. Our artists are extensively trained and continue their education by completing workshops and hands-on classes on a monthly basis. All stylists at Sparks must undergo rigorous training and work with one of our master stylists before actually working on clients.

Sanctum Body Piercing at Sparks has been performing body piercing's in New Brunswick for over 10 years. Our Piercer was one of the first approved by New Jersey's new regulations and was used as the model for setting the standards for those regulations.
